    Default Real-life Players Council Meetup?

If I could make it happen, how many people would be able and willing to meet up in the Boston area? This would be on your own dime. If we can coordinate it and get it approved, it would include a tour of the office. Just want to see what kind of numbers we could get.

I'm not sure if you want negative responses.

But it's a long way from New Zealand to Boston, I will most likely not be attending any real-life meetups (unless anyone else is going to hawaii-con this year)

It would really be work dependent for me. As in if I can juggle to get the day off. If I had enough notice I could probably swing it. Location may be more of a factor for others then myself tho, I live a couple hour drive from Boston so it would just be a day trip for me.

So sure, with enough notice I could be interested.

Default That sounds really great! But...

As a single parent on a fixed income (who lives on the West Coast), I don't see it happening for me. That said, I hope there's enough folks who could make it - this sounds like a fun & cool opportunity!

i would love to. But wouldn't be able to until later this fall. Living in Germany makes it difficult to attend any earlier than that.

I'd love to come, but Netherlands-Boston is not an option for me, sorry.

    Default Work

Next week begins my next work cycle and it will be tough to get away still the end of Sept. The season will slow at the end of Sept. After Sept. work schedule would be good, but I live on the west coast and I'm not sure how much a ticket to Boston would be that far into the future.

We have vacation blackouts during the summer, but often times there is a 2 week window during a lull. It's slightly possible to get out of the office in summer, but it depends if we get that lull or not.

    I like the idea tho!

    Never been to Boston before.

I see a lot of "If I have enough advanced notice" here, and since we are the 2015 PC, we basically have all year. I am just up in Maine and my mother lives just outside of Boston, so I'm certainly interested. Feel free to email me the NDA paperwork any time and I'll fill it out before whatever date is set.

I have some family in Maine, so I have a place to stay and probably a car to borrow to drive down to Boston. However I have a tight budget this year. My only concern is having the cash to buy the plane ticket.

I've never been to Maine either and it would be great if I could turn it into, and make it part of a week's vacation.

Turbine probably is, but I am probably not. I would not expect a DDO presence at this year's PAX.

While I probably won't be there, there almost certainly WILL be a player meetup at GenCon, as in years past.

A few months would be fine with me, as would doing it in the Fall. Depending on various circumstances, I would have no problem allowing someone to crash on my couch/floor, if it made the difference between being able to go and not.

Unless it conflicts with work, I would definitely make this trip. I've already sunk God-knows-how-much money into this game over the past 10 years, what's a few hundred more...

Bummer on Pax, because I am planning on being at pax prime this year. I wouldn't be able to make it to boston even if I had a place to stay. maybe next year or so when my financials are more stabilized. If I could, I definitely would. It was awesome working in monolith and with nvidia, so I could imagine the scene at turbine is cool too.

I would love to come. If it was in the fall or on a weekend, it would be better for me. Have an 11 year old, so would either need to bring her or something. It is only 5 1/2 hours away for me.

It would have to be on a weekend It's only about a 10 hour drive I could make it a shopping trip! But I'm sure you wouldn't want me toting along a one year old. lol

Assuming the buses and the T are running, I could probably make it *g* Straight shot down the highway (to the Turbine Zone...)
