You guys have been quiet lately. Everything ok?

Surely there is someone on the server who is acting out? Some controversy we can exacerbate into a flame worthy thread?

I feel like someone just up and canceled my favorite daytime soap opera.

It is certainly possible that we may be in a period of, relative, stability.

Besides, the forum admins are on the lookout for anything that might erupt into a flamewar. Such things are no longer tolerated. With that in mind, here is the best that I have to offer:

I have recently left a midsized Guild that included several people that I have grown to hate (a couple of them I hate with a PASSION). A breakdown in the Guild leadership resulted in a small group seizing power through harrassment and dirty politics...during which, human decency was cast aside. It was a nightmare that I hope that noone else has to live through.

Now, however, I am a member of Ransack. In my new guild there is no hatred, no strife, no controversy, no politics, no backstabbing. In short, everything just....well...WORKS! We back each other up. We run all of the raids. We simply enjoy the game, just like we are supposed to. I feel like I have won the lottery.

I know that this is not much of a controversy, but it is the best I have to offer in this time of peace.

There was this guy in a raid last night.

We beat the raid, the new one, and FIVE +10 tomes dropped.

He proceeded to kill everyone in the raid and take all the tomes.

He suxxorz and I will not raid with him again.

I really wish Khyber could take responsibility for that thread, but we just can't. Maybe we could work out a deal where terrible threads don't get cubed but instead get teleported to Khyber to be feasted upon.

Apparently the members of my old Guild lack the guts, or DDO Forum "presence", to respond to this post...especially that self-assured holier-than-though Australian.

It just serves to amplify the fact that I am MUCH better off where I am. I pity those who remain. Ransack will always have a place for those who tire of the controversy. There IS a better way, you know.

I would not call it lack of "guts" or forum presence, I would call it "tiresome" to repeatly hear your negitive comments all the time. We know and understand that you have a difference of opinion, so in knowing that why cant you just leave it alone. IMO all you ever want is a flame war and are not satisfied until you have acheived this reaction from all that disagree with your point of view.

Care enlightening those of us who are scratching our heads as to why you hate these people so much?

I guess that's possible...but I don't think so. I have already said more than enough. I am very happy where I'm at...and they are very happy (I guess) where they are at. Plus, I'm sure that the Holy Warriors have no influence, whatsoever, on this guilds happiness. If the leader is really a Holy Warrior (in disguise) then I am sure that the membership either kows that, or are too dumn to know one way or the other....so I am sure that everyone (even the pathetically ignorant) are very happy. So what do I have to complain about?!?!?

Did you ever stop to think that I don't read these forums often Goolan? I'm surprised I caught this thread so early but it's due to the fact that I stopped by to respond in the Qwijymart thread and just happened to click this one by chance.

Goolan hates me because I gifted a +2 Dex Tome to a guildies Dex Build Ftr instead of putting it up for open roll so he could try to win it. I can't think of any other reason (other than the fact my Ranger out kills his Barbarian in any quest) why he would hate me.

First and formost, I'm apologizing to all of you who couldn't care less that this has come to the DDO forums. It was an ugly situation in our own forums, and I'm sure it'll only grow uglier still up here.

Being one of those that is "passionately hated" for standing up for my friends in other guilds, and my friends in this one, I'm rather annoyed to see this spread so far. Not for the reasons he'd like to accuse me of, but more because we'd all thought he'd grown up and moved on.

It's sad when a man who is the same age as my father - my dad also plays the game in our guild and finds this all petty and childish - has to act this way. Now I see why you wanted all your posts on our guild forums deleted. We all suspected you were up to something, and our beliefs were confirmed only a few measley hours after your second account was accepted.

We've already lost quite a few people to other games - not other guilds - because they were tired of reading your insults and your repetitive negativity. And I have that in many private messages and tells. It is YOU who has caused this so-called "downfall" you speak about so much. The only one who anyone has lost respect for is you, and you'll only make it worse for yourself by bringing it here.

I pity those in Ransack, for sooner or later you will revert to old form, and this will be seen by your new guildies, as well.

Wait wait wait. Which guild did Goolan get kicked out of this time? It's getting hard to keep track of this.

Requesting a timeline -- STAT! We've got a cube to beat so let's keep it moving people!

Mot much has been missed, well except for Legion of the Cold children became Sovereign blades, and there after some members left that guild for various reasons. (each had their reasons I am sure).

But at least the entertainment continues in a nice orderly fashion. Im trying to think of something really good to flame about.....maybe it will come to me later tonight.

Hey! Thats pretty funny stuff! You should take that act into the clubs....who knows, you might just make it. Anyway, in response to Yabba, here is a SPECIFIC response:

The guild formarly known as The Legion of the Cold Children, was founded by a man known as Redsiberris. He was a "founder" and was known as "somebody you should know". However. Redsiberis was arrested for having sex with his nine year old daughter....that makes him, what in the REAL world we call, a PEDOPHILE. The members of his guild, then called the Legion of the Cold Children, soon found out that pedophiles talk amongst themselves.....using code words. The code word for "Kids who do not respond to the pedophiles advances" is: COLD CHILDREN!!!!

So....the name of the guild had to be changed. The best thing that the residual members could come up with, was the name SOVEREIGN BLADES. So....the pedophile acceptng members proceedeed to march among you alll, disguised under this new name. They never condoned Redsiberriss's actions....but did, in fact, didtribute all of his equipment and platinum by giving it to the (soon to be) new leader Alsalak/Aleos/Aleon/etc.

This "Al" person was able to gain control of this (pedophile endorsing) guild by gathering the support of certain closely aligned players. These include: Iilara, Kaetos/Indyindeed/Htead, and Yabba (in all of his "IM a good man tryig to sell you items, guises). lso, ther is such pedophile consentors as Kungshi and Dazz/Dazzlr/Dazzmaticus.

I doubt that this post will survive very long on this forum. It names too many names and links them ALL to pedophilism. The admins will NEVER let such a thing be brought into public...as it REALLY should.Indeed, it is much easier to ban ME from all posts that to confront this serious isssue and ban everyone associated with this child-loving guild. I guess we have to be satisfied with the easier solution!

You have no right to share that information, not without the consent of the person who shared the information with US.

Where is your class? There were reasons the name was changed - which you were also steadfast for - and it has changed because we were utterly disgusted by what it was.

Don't try to throw this in to an argument to try to win it. It has nothing to do with what was being said.
