Why is STR 12, "-2" or is it just a buggy screen shot?

How can you tell that?  MyDDO records your character in the state it is when logging off... which makes it a rather unreliable indicator of... anything, really.

Same questions as Strak and Gornn, you'll need to explain more clearly what you mean.

So this is all very interesting but.... how do you do it?

If we take note of the modifiers on the screenshot, his stats are:

Str: 6
Dex: 30
Con: 14
Int: 14
Wis: 9 (or 8)
Cha: 8

If I analyse this quickly, his starting stats seems to be: 6 20 14 14 8 8 and this character is a 28pts build.

How did he get to 30, since he have 42 on the screenshot which could be +6 item with +3 exceptionnal dex and maybe a +3 tome for a total of 12. To get from 20 to 30, that means he used his 4 lvls into dex to get up to 24, but we're still missing 6 dex. Halfling dexterity is +2 and rogue dexterity is +3 both for a total of +5. All this brings his character to 41 dex. He might have acrobat and used the 1 minute buff for +2, but he would have used a +2 tome instead of +3, but he might have used a +4 tome. The myddo stats dosn't seem to always work correctly.

Personally I doub't he started with 26, he's probably using the myddo wierd results to convince others of his lies.

Edit. I visited the myddo and saw his character sheet, and he dosn't have a shroud item equipped. I would guess he uses house d potions and they are included in his +10.
