	I have a person in my guild that I consider to be a very good friend. He is great fun to run quests with. There is one small problem I have though. He will usually join the group knowing full well that there is a very high likelyhood of newer inexperienced players in our groups. This leads to the dilemna.. Knowing that I will have the star, he will wait until opportune moments when proper instruction is crucial to the success or failure of any particular task we may have before us. At this moment, with near perfect timing to keying up the mic he started with simple things such as: ?r Slink I told you not right now, I'm still sore from the gerbil you gave me last night. 'Hey Big Sexy' 'Your voice makes me wet' He would type these things in party chat. I grew immune to these small catchphrases but he has moved onward with his party chat to more hysterical notions thru /tells. Things such as: /tell <xxxxxxxx> tells you: My nipples are popping I can not contain myself when these things occur and have no choice but to ROTFLMAO. These incidents have caused party wipes and I have decided the best way to handle it is to /squelch add when I know that proper instruction is crucial to the success or failure of a particular quest. He has taken this one step further by sending /tells to other members of the party in advance and now has them conveying his messages thru copy/paste.� What should I do? Give up leading or grow a thicker skin?

	Someone copy and paste this in case the squelch extends to the forums. Slink, I believe the person you are refering to will probably move on to messing with you in different ways. Causing party wipes is getting old! Though your voice is super sexy and it makes that persons nipples explode when you key up the mic, they will stop sending tells. From now on if you see one of their characters jumping up and down while you give instructions, just know that the nipples are popping. Bromantically yours, stainer

	In particularly boring eq raids I used to like to pretend to accidentally misstell extremely graphic /tells of me cybering with our guildleader (we're both males) and I had to stop because it kept causing wipes Imo your friend is a pretty cool guy who is doing god's work

Copy the "(Party): [Party] Cylene:" portion (so that clicking on the name will correctly link). So the first "I LIKE HOTDOGS" line looked like this when I typed it: huh?<li>(Party): [Party] Cylene: I LIKE HOTDOGS (only instead of "Cylene", the "<player id=Cylene string=0x932432432432>" thingy shows up when you paste it). I do remember reading in some release notes (U4?) that they had removed the ability of people to use colors in text chat (due in part to me using this to type in general chat in red text that the world was going to shut down in 30 seconds, logoff now... heh). I'm not sure if this included the <li> tag, though I suspect it did.

Well, HTML-ish, at least. <li> invokes a newline, but is missing the '-'. I think <br> didn't work. However, I suspect they may have disabled all of this, as it was probably easier to do than just disabling color. That's Turbine's MO.

	I am glad to report that my small problems with this person have been resolved. I can continue in all situations, unphased, by this type of behavior. Thanx everyone for your help when I needed it!
