...the original post had an image at the bottom.  It was edited...not by me and it doesn't show the Edited by <Moderator> at the bottom.  I haven't seen that trick before.  Did they change this so moderators can stealth edit?

If you edit a post very quickly after posting it, no "edited by" note will show up.  It's possible that T&T edited it very quickly after you posted it.

I'm sure it's buried somewhere in the Vault, but here's the summary of where the line in the sand has been drawn:

• No mentioning the Vault by name
• No mentioning of a "moderation-free" forum or anything to that effect. 
• No mentioning of content of the Vault
• "Alternate Forum" or something similarly vague is acceptable.

By the way, while "PM Strakeln" is perfectly fine, I'm cool with "PM Me" if anyone feels so inclined.  When I get a PM, I usually tell them that they can register at http://www.ddovault.com and that admin approvals usually take place by 8PM eastern, daily.

From old days of running VBulletin:
Signatures are not tied to posts but are rolled in when you read the post. Thus, it won't be an edit to any posts if you change your signature.

If a post is edited before anyone else reads it, then it won't show that it was edited.

The one I recall off the top of my head was Futs.  I posted something and told him to look at it.  He thought I went too far so I edited it and told him to look at it again.  He was all "HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!!?!!?"...

...so I told him I was an admin and sent him one of those admin tells (using <li> and text coloring - I think it was AAFFAA that worked well for admin color).

Also,

• hotlinked images are subject to any filters imposed by the network you're on.  For example, I couldn't see the screenshot Mts put up for the 6 min Abbot run at work, but could at home.
• Many sites don't like to be hotlinked, and will disable that ability on an image when its traffic goes way up all of a sudden.
