Well, sure, it's harder for a fighter to kill when they have to keep chugging Silver Flame pots  Grin

You've run with me enough to know that my fighters don't have to chug pots.

I was referring to the fighters running with your cleric Wink

There are times when Quicken is absolutely essential.  Especially with Radiant Servant I pulses delivered close to the battle lines when it is safe to be there (they've got the aggro for sure) or you are necessarily there (e.g. A New Invasion).  There are times when it's not.  I agree with Sisster: it's useful enough times to be important, and RSI makes it more important.

I have gone cold turkey on Radiant Servant for a few days to compare/contrast with other use of AP and more heavily rely upon wand/scrolls (enhanced).  I'm gonna use whatever tools the program gives me to get healing and then BB damage out there, but I worry about RS forgiving a sloppy playstyle.  One thing about pre-RS/being low on manna: it pushes you to get better or get poor.

Wow, so many baby clerics coming out with high strength or mixed-class.  I dunno, perhaps a playstyle thing, but I'd have the opposite reaction to RS: put more into constitution, think of RS letting you get a little closer during action too, but still in healing mode first.  RS tends to affect where I stand, what I will jump over while healing, and, in the right mood, whether I dare to go do a DQ elite pug with a bunch of 14s whom I don't know just to see if I can keep 'em alive.
