Once in a while (like when Epic first came out), this came back, to a degree.  Similar idea, but we would put just one mule with res capabilities in the door.  It takes a little practice, but you can learn how to grab stones while in the door this way... then you have people run away.  When they zone back they're either in the door with you or on the other side of it (takes some adjustment but once you get your spot right the guy in the door doesn't have to move at all).  Then door guy tosses a res to the ghost.

Can do this through blue barriers as well... used to hold open the titan this way (way back when).

This is one of those 'sploits that just keeps on giving - it has a million different uses.  Dragon and Titan were just two very profitable examples.

Lol... with Titan - this was back when scrolled cometfalls worked on him - we were three-manning it, with two of us logging out before the kill so that we could rummage through the chest without getting on timer.  One of the three of us would burn 1 toon each run.

Only thing was, you had to be stingy with stones to get through the hallways (again, this was back when 600HP was unheard of except for one guy who took all toughness feats). 

The funniest thing about the dragon door is that you can bring people in who don't know whats up, and will often get them through the door without them figuring out how.

Anyone remember godmode from the blue flag days?  I forget the exact sequence, but it involved the same thing - logging out and assigning teams and whatnot.  We'd figured out how to jigger it so that you were in godmode, invincible to all and able to attack (but unable to move). 

This was right after they "fixed" the Abbot so that people couldn't complete the quest without solving the puzzles.  I used this exploit (and 74 majors and hundreds of scrolls) to beat him down to 0 HP and prove that they really did make him unkillable.  I was able to be sure that he was all the way down because my heal scrolls/spell no longer had any effect on him ("You healed Abbot for 0 HP").  Yes, I tried cures, they said they hit but he didn't die.

not really into exploiting these days. not worth the ban, especially the ban hammer falls that easy. entire guilds have been implicated for a few peoples actions, that is a total farce in the application of power

And besides, completely innocent people were banned because they joined and then left a guild, because unknown to them there was an exploit involving renown and joining/leaving guilds.

So if Turbine is gonna fucking ban people because their actions RESEMBLE exploits, then I FUCKING HAVE THE RIGHT to know about every exploit in the game so that I don't "accidentally" do something like it and risk getting banned.

I've never been a huge exploit guy. I Used to get annoyed when people tried to bug harry in part 4 with summon scrolls, and then later when you could bug him using that certain type of weapon whose name escapes me.

Wasn't a fan.

Oh also anyone remember that exploit on Llamania that could take you from level 10 to level 20 in under an hour at the orchard? You could do level 1-10 from Sorrowdusk isle or ataraxia's haven still don't remember.

Also can't forget the exploit at korthos that gave you 1k xp over and over and that resulted in all those "perma" bans all over the servers.

I only used the llamania one cause i wanted to see what paths to take on my level 16's. Having all my characters level 20 on llamania really did help me figure out what i wanted to do with my characters.
