Maybe it's because I come from a fairly tight guild, but most of the time I pass my loot to my guildies. I have 1-2 good friends out of guild, but I rarely run raids or epics with them because they are far more casual players.

The reason I pass to my guildies is because I run with them more than any other group of players. You say that puggers helped complete this run, so they should have a shot at this loot. How about loot that only pops up every 10 raids then? Who helped me complete the other 9? The answer is guildies. If my guildies don't want something, which is fairly often because Ransack is a fairly geared guild, I'll give it to puglets.

Pugs have their shot at the loot in the chest, and that is the loot that falls underneath their name. We give them an assured completion and their chance at loot. We certainly don't make them give up their loot or decide how they give it away.

The only exception to this is that I have one guildie who I dislike (not naming, I keep his name to myself and would stand up for him). If he is in my group, I ask my other guildies if they need it first before him.

Also about crazy.... I think he is a dick, but no more than other people I group with. He used to be a terribad player, but he has increased his skills drastically since he started playing. He's more than welcome in any of my groups.

I had a fun pug last night.

Frame Work, normal.  We had no cleric or fvs, so I asked the bard to heal us.  I try to provide a designated healer for all pugs I lead, even easy quests, as a courtesy for people who aren't prepared to or can't heal themselves.  The bard agreed.  Here's a quick summary:

Drow sorcerer with 70 HP at level 10
Paladin with NO self-healing
Bard who couldn't heal a papercut (I did most of the healing with a wand)

It was entertaining, to say the least

I felt so badly last night...

After you and Richard logged off last night. I took a break for a few minutes then logged on to Amy, I saw a ToD up Matt's (Jacklalalala). I was going to hop on a bard – since they had none but stayed on Amy to get in quick because it was the last spot. Beside's the group filled with good players as is.

We ran it on hard and the quest played simple as expected and in end chest seven rings pop included “ravager”  for Sereena who places it up for roll. Charles (Drazdar) wins it but Sereena mistakenly assigned the ring to Quasqueton (Deesnider if you remember) ...  Quasqueton grabs the ring recalls and logs immediately - quite obvious what happened there.

So Charles is not only disappointed but slightly hurt because there was a time he and Deesnider ran used to play ddo together on a daily basis.

With Charles and I last in group I go to take my end reward after the incident and the first thing staring me in face is none other than you guessed it, “ravager.” (The Devil You Know : 160</li>)... course no bloody tomes and a lousy 50 guild renown.

I asked Charles his opinion what I should take as already have most of them - including the better ones... he was helpful but busy sending a post to  Quasqueton's guild leader stating his discontent. If I could I would surely had given Charles any choice of my end reward... I'll never complain 'bout Draz in my pants again.


He's welcome to cover me in Draz anytime.
