	Only time I got lost on the way to hound was the second or third rotation in drunken raids when I fell off the upper paths and tried running to the dots.

As long as he had clear line of sight he seems to just shoot you with his repeater. Melee him down while you hold his aggro. Never had to worry about him teleporting. So it doesn't need to be 10~15 ft.
