Time to farm those Tharnes and/or Sandstorm goggles a bit more. Or, just slot the Voice of the Master and Mantle of the Worldshaper.  Wink

I feel like such a burden if I ever have to ask for TS.  I do give it willingly on my cleric though... Tongue

GS HP goggles, so trueseeing was my tradeoff.  Likewise I'm not swapping out cloak and trinket to hit a friggin portal.  I'm not saying stand around for 5 minutes and buff before jumping in. But, if someone is OCD enough, they can toss the buffs out on the run between portals.  If said person is that worried about passing those buffs out they probably weren't going to be doing much DP damage on the portals.

Now the guy yelling at my WF Pally to come back for Fire, FoM, GH, and Poison?  He can go pound sand.

I have an inner nerdrage every time someone asks for Poison in Shroud, even before part 4 or 5. And I cringe in pain if that someone is a greensteel wearing TR. Really? Pots too expensive? What's the point of it?

Cove level 20 trinket. No upgrades required even.

Note to any Turbine staffers reading this, and one I genuinely hope you share around the office: DDO has become a shit game because y'all have made it a shit game. Once it was great. Now, it's a festering puddle of monkey diarrhea. No matter how you try to justify it, or pat yourselves on the back for doing great jobs... it's a shit game now because of you. Y'all keep on giving the players the middle finger, and you keep expecting us to reward you for the abuse. I've had it with you narcissistic fuckwads and your myopic policies of ineptitude.

Why not?  Are what you have slotted in those spots so critical that you can't swap them out for a couple minutes?

Here's the main reasons:

1) I don't wanna.  I greatly dislike item swapping on the fly, particularly on my monk who is almost always on the fly.  So I generally kit myself out in all-purpose gear and just deal with the outlying situations when they arise.  Weapon sets are really my main concession on this, still bugs me though.

2) I don't like having my screen covered with hotbars.  I am in mouselook 90+% of the time and set up my hotbars to be situational and just scroll between whichever one is most appropriate for the quest at hand.

3) I don't care.  If the situation pops up, and a divine will buff?  Great.  If the divine refuses or doesn't have the spell, oh well, guess I'll just take a few more seconds to kill X.

4) GFY.

I like to open a trade window with them and pass them a single pot.  Either that or I tell them to fuck off.  Although, I do ask for poison on my WF in Bizzy shrouds.

I use guild vendor pots, so can't trade them. Sometimes I link them in party chat. But most times I'm having too heavy convulsions (right word?) to do this.

It will take longer to TS all the melees at the start of part one than for you to take down that one displaced portal. Eventually, the caster who messed up will dispell it anyway.

Buffing at the beginning of part 1, after everybody is in, is horrible.

And you need extra 45 HP to beat on portals? Having GS hp goggles for tanking and Tharne's for the rest 95% of the content is a pretty common swap Huh

I have external nerdrage when some dipshit asks that. I don't load it on my divines anyway, or indeed my ranger. Buy a fucking pot. Jesus.

In U13, he can use the Tinker's set because True Seeing will finally work.

How many times in Maxwell's last 3 posts did he say that he doesn't like to swap?

Epic Spyglass then, it has True Seeing, Search, and Spot.  It should help you locate her small Mindsunder chest.

Aye, me too. I ALWAYS link a stack of pots, and it is usually accompanied by the question are you being cheap, or lazy? (sadly this happens every other shroud or so).

Got into an argument with a barb from a well known guild a couple weeks ago (sorry don't recall name/guild), at the end of part 3. It went like this:

Barb: poison
me (on fvs): *link* don't be cheap or lazy
barb: poison meh
me: *link"
barb: don't have
me: too expensive for ya?
barb: I have to rage in next part, and don't want to dismiss
me: poison pots last 7 minute, part 4 will not be that long, now would be a good time to drink
barb: I WANT TO RAGE
me: try guild pots
barb: somebody cast poison on me, or I am not going into part 4

He ended up eventually coming into part 4 when harry dropped.
