I was chatting with a guildie of mine about what he was trying to do equipping his toon.  We were conversing in guild chat about the Gem of Many Facets Scroll, which he needed to upgrade.  I didn't have one to give him, so I mentioned I'd ask around and see if I can trade for one for him. 

Anyway Shyrius gets into the chat stating he has one.  I think great.  So I ask him what he needs or is looking for.  Mentioned I'd try to help him out with whatever if he can help out the other guy.  So in response he starts quoting prices in LDS and TP.  So I say thanks but no thanks. 

Later on that evening it comes up while I am running with the guys on our TR train.  So I tell the story.  While I am doing this he is kicked from the guild.  It's not the solution I'd wanted at the time.  I figured we'd sit down with him and explain that one of our guild standards is that we help each other out.  I give shit away if anyone needs anything anyway, and everyone else does the same.  I felt a little bad about it.

Next day, he's contacted everyone in the guild and is actively sending tells arguing with everyone about it.  He'd been temp squelched by nearly everyone else.  So I got into tells with him explaining this shit, and how we don't squeeze each other for profit.  We actually help each other out, and what he did was pretty messed up.  I also let him know that kicking wasn't my preference, but I definitely support it and why.  Dude goes on and on in tells for over an hour.  I get accused of lying about what happened even though others followed the guild chat.  Just stupid...

He'd been contacting us daily since then until a few days ago.  Now he just brags to Felice about how much TP he managed to get by selling items via the forums. 

If he's got a new best friend, that's good for us.  We are tired of hearing about it.

He is really sweet and kind in game. He is always giving good advice in game. Like "reroll" or "you should play hello kitty".
