Well the weapons are easy...its this next part that had me worried...

I am having trouble deciding where to put my second greensteel item...and what should I shoot for?  I am coming into all kinds of problems/conflicts with slots

Currently I am considering making a Disentegration or Earth Grab guard Helm with last 2 effects being +15 and +20 HP
Or
Boots like that...but then I can not wear it with Firestorm Greaves (trying to get those) or Boots of Anchoring

I feel helm would be OK because the Mindsunder Docent has 6 CON...Superior False Life and Toughness on it.  That would also open my belt slot up.



Anyway, Thoughts?  Suggestions?

ALso, going to throw this out there... it is hard to help with what exact gear would be good without knowing what your stats are at endgame.

For example.. with a +3 tome you have a 16+ cha you dont really need a cha item unless you are healing for th ehigher lvl masses.  As you will be able to throw a a single heal on yourself...

With Adamantine Body, a 20th level WF Favored Soul of the Lord of Blades can reach DR 15/Adamantine!  This is VERY nice!! It works against everything except the Stormreaver whose greatsword is made of Adamantine.

I am a High STR, CON build started with a 12 CHR

I have a +3 CON tome Banked for TR.

Approaching 40th Shroud and 20th raid on some other raids.

DEX, WIS, INT were dump stats

My Human FVS is my Blade Barrier guy.

This toon is the closest I will play to a melee.

I use the Tharne's Goggles for the 8 damage and TS etc etc.

Can not really replace that IMHO as far as meleeing goes.

The Sandstorm Goggles bridge me on the TR from level 11 to 13.

Arkat hit the nail on the head.  Addy body is solely for the dr 15.  Though I *think* I could skip Addy body and still get DR 13?  Not sure if the WF DR Addy enhancements work like toughness enhancements or not.  I will check with my WF castor when I get home.  BTW the Blademark Docent when you have Addy body does indeed look pimp.


I already have Concord Opp and the Torc so I prefer to get hit.  Was thinking a "Guard" build would work well for me...though I guess if I am soloing...I do not need to have Tharne's Goggles on huh.

Oh I use quicken just for the speed...mainly for Mass Heal...also I tend to get back more than enough SP from the Torc and C/O cloak.

I also have Concentration maxed and have exceptional bonuses on my gear also.  I definitely think its an over-looked skill.  Many people have shit for concentration due to quicken and then wonder why they can use scrolls in combat...

DR13 is pretty awesome to, and comes without taking a feat.

I am glad to see others saying quicken is 100% got to have.  Was starting to worry maybe I was doing it wrong.

To Aranticus...yeah I use Tharne's for the +8 dmg and the 15 Spot is helpful (sorta).  The True sight to me is just a bonus.

I have decided to make some earthgrab bonus HP boots for normal play (unless I get lucky on Dragontouched).

Also I will be making some Disentegration Gaurd Goggles for Threat Tanking certain raids (thinking VoD and ToD mainly).  I am thinking that if I am tanking, the Tharne's wont be doing much for me anyway, so Disentegration Gaurd would be the way to go.

Today I found a Docent of Defiance on the AH for 500k gold...bought it really quickly...they go for 15-20 million gold.

One day Horoth won't be a greedy dirt bag and will give me my damn rings...

BTW I think I can push my HP up to 600+ pretty easy NP to tank Horoth.  I am hoping that would be enough...

I was thinking I could hold Horoth while others beat the crap outta Sully and then once Sully is dead I would go back to the Mass Heal Rotation to keep the whole group up.

This a solid plan/strategy?

As far as dropping Addy body...what would you suggest taking instead?

maximize is better than the 2dr imo, but I tend to use a lot of BBs while swinging.

I dont think quicken is a totally must have, but I sure like it. It takes forever to toss a mass heal. I really considered not taking it on my melee fvs as it simply takes way too long to cast, and every moment your waving your damn arms around your not swinging.

That said, once they fixed mass heal, it became simply too powerful not to have imo. So for me quicken is a must on mine as it maximizes melee time.

The only time I sit back and heal on mine is when im lazy, othewise Im in the mix, mass heal is very nice for sp conservation, but it just takes so long.

Also when im soloing I still use BB (dumped wis) to soften mobs up. As long as they dont have evasion it helps. Again, quicken
