Correct me if I'm wrong here. Dude has been here a couple months, has a capped or near-cap toon and handful of good gear, and is running raids. And you guys are bitching that he sucks? Why are you stomping his Johnson? Isn't this the kind of new guy we'd prefer to have?
I read his OP. I don't see the problem with it. Did I miss something?
Does failing a hound make you a shitty player? I've failed tons. Even failed one this week. In fact, I've failed every raid multiple times, especially when I was still learning the ins and outs of each. It's a group game, and it only takes one person to fuck over an entire raid (as someone pointed out).
Crazydamage, stick around a bit. Remember, this is the Vault, built to celebrate drama. Some here are likely trolling, trying to get a rise out of your fries.
Strake,
The problem is the first part of his name is descriptive. The guy is clearly out of touch with the reality of his raids. They are not 95-100% successful. Most of us Khyber players have had the misfortune of joining one of his doomed expeditions.
His reputation for repeatedly failing raids has been discussed over the last weeks. He comes here now and presents a very good case for being solid. If i was going solely on his post, I would agree with you. But the facts don't match. He's a nightmare as a raid leader. His raids fail often. He has LFM's up all day long on the same toon. They get close to filling, disappear for about 15 min and then are back.
So, the thing filled and he wiped. Otherwise he'd be on timer. (Except if he's ddooring Shroud, but these are Hound and VoD lfms we are talking about). This goes on for hours. It's Helixo all over again.
ANother note on his post:
I especially enjoyed his lame gear bragging when his gear is meh at best. Not that his gear selection is an issue for 2 month player. It's a damn sight better than mine was at 2 months in. But I wasn't mentioning it 3 times in one post, either. I knew enough to know I had work to do.
