Maybe now that the whole fiasco is getting coverage from outside sources, Turbine will pull their collective head out of their asses yet again to save their "reputation", just like they did for the Offer Wall.

Either way, I think my in-game presence will be waning after this incident. Got finals and holidays coming up after all. Maybe if I don't play much between now and Christmas I'll find I don't miss the game all that much.

Maybe, just paranoid/lack of trust in Turbine, anyone else feel that they are just using the "oops sorry technical glitch" to cover for the mass banning.  As in they intentionally banned all those people, felt the giant backlash, then looked for a convenient excuse. 

Can those of us who didn't get banned start a new crusade on various forums to also get the 100TP?    Huh

I thought it'd be a good idea to remind any Mod who may be watching that they're garnering some bad press over the whole mess.

Now, if only Massively or TTH would report that it was a faulty autoban system that caused the bans to happen in the first place. It's only been reported as being a mistake - but no mention of the root cause. If it were reported - maybe the autoban would go the way of OfferWall.


Oddly enough - I never get Rep from posts that I think will get it. Weird.
