Deepwoods sniper 2 and 3 (Read 5743 times)

	I am relatively new to the world of d&d, but very interested in learning more. Having said that I have lots of questions. My focus now is my lvl 14 ranger. I have unlocked dws1 but I cannot seem to find dws2. Even when I check on unavailable enhancements it's no where to be found. Can someone with expertise on this subject please send me in the right direction?

	Deepwood Sniper II and III are not in the game yet, and no word on when they will be added. Quite frankly - swap over to Arcane Archer if you can. DWS is suck-ass.

Should have moderatly decent solo ability*in ddo not so much* 2. Con is still not a dump stat. 3. No you will not out dps the barbs, fighters, rogues etc... 5. Kiting is great for solo... Not that great in party. 6. Learn how/when to use manyshot. 7. If you really want to go the bow route, Arcane Archer is currently the only way to go. The only interesting bit about Deepwood Sniper is that Eladrin stated that it will be changed at some point in the future to encompass other ranged attacks than just bows, but no word on when that will happen.

	Either case ranged is behind melee in DPS in all but 20 seconds due RoA>RoF... so best to melee/range mix the character.

	The only thing wrong with Deepwood Sniper (other than the fact that ranged combat in DDO does not provide nearly as much DPS as melee in most situations) is that Arcane Archer does everything that Deepwood Sniper does, only better.

A blending of Assassin and Kensai would fit well. Include some precision damage along with massive hits when you don't have aggro. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.
