	A lot of speculation going on blaming Turbine (but they do have a track record for screwing some things up)... They had outsourced the server farm to a provider in the past when they were split into 2 datacenters. Outages in the past were not Turbine's fault (except they choose a bad provider). Looks like pnap is finally routing traffic for Turbine's subnet so that is why we can see the maintenance page (They are redirecting Turbine's web traffic to their maintenance page hosted on Grand-Central). I guess it is a manual process to throw it over to the maintenance page site (kind of stupid, but anything to save a buck). As far as we know, this could just be a core router (without redundancy) going down and needing replacement. This outage can easily be out of their control, so maybe we will have to wait until Soon (tm) happens. Which means see you tomorrow!

As I said, I have no idea. But, sometimes you don't know that your provider only has a single core router servicing a server farm until the outage happens. Then, it is "oops, we didn't realize this happened during our last upgrade". I do recall they used to have things at more than one data center. They consolidated the services and here is what you get: everything down at once. I wish they hadn't linked MYDDO back to the game servers, because it made sense to have the web servers separated from the game servers (different logins, etc). Anyways, services are coming up slowly. I can login to one client and credentials are valid.
