	They are slow as hell for me. Anyone else having that issue? Are things still jacked up there? With all the errors that point to a db problem you might think that there were still some underlying issues.

	They work fine for me, aside from the sucky front page that they always throw up when things like this happen.

Not sure if that's what this guy did, but it's not very hard to do these days -- yet it's so easy to get caught it's stupid to see how long you can knock out google, yahoo, etc. That used to be the "fun" thing to do 2000-2004. I think since then it's become relatively tame and hackers are look'n for money, not bragging rights.

The type of dos attack you've also mentioned is easy to mitigate. Only skids do that shit. The people who really know shit about hacking and/or computers are either doing it professionally or are making money via cpa marketing, so for money just as you said. The forums are probably slow because Turbine sucks cocks and it was bottlenecked, but tbh the forums have always been slow for me.
