One of the guys who is responsible was responding to my posts in another thread.  My understanding is that they are constantly working on that planner to keep it up to date and fully functional.  For example, while the thread we were in was running he went onto it and updated it due to a noob error a new crafter made.  That thread is here:

I really don't think that the guys who brought us the crafting planner had anything to do with this error.  Nor am I of the opinion that the recipe has changed in any way.  I'm firmly convinced post reading about the experiences of others who have the same problem.  The process in crafting that applies the Mineral 2 status (Metalline/Keen/Slicing) is currently broken.  You craft a double shard and apply that double shard and you get the effect you crafted for, ( in my case Acid Blast), however you don't get the bonus effect.

People have crafted Lightning 2's, Min 2 accessories, Cocordant Opposition successfully from what I have read so far and gotten in PM's.  It's pretty plain by this time that other crafting options are unaffected.  Frankly, we won't know shit til tomorrow officially.  The devs should be back at the desk by then.

Until they say it's fixed though, I wouldn't craft Min2.  Tried to keep that thread updated to save the casual gamers some trouble.  Seems that a few have crafted and gotten hosed anyway.  The thread is growing...
