OP claims to be someone who I would rate as at least moderately trustworthy. It's fishy to me because I don't understand the whole smoke and mirrors thing. He wants all the stuff mailed to a low-level unguilded character? He wants to stay anonymous to prevent bias, but divulges his identity anyway? Plenty of people have put up raffles on their main accounts and stayed unbiased. And chances are, if he is who he claims to be, that his friends and guildies know who he is and likely will be the only ones to enter, therefore someone he knows ends up with the goods anyway.

Any way you look at it, not something that a sensible person would involve themselves with, and people are right to question the validity.

I don't see this as being a scam. Call me naive, but he's going about it the right way. By limiting the amount of bidders and number of times they can bid, it creates a fair shot.

I know if I had a shot to pay only 1 lds for a mari chain, versus 20+ reds.....I'd take it in a heartbeat.

I'm not saying that THIS one is a scam but that's the mindset that gets people taken in scams.  "I know if I had a shot to pay $37 for an iPad instead of $499+ I'd take it in a heartbeat." Smiley

I like how 3-4 different people posted how trustworthy the seller is.  And all of them have less than 10 posts.  Two of them it is the boobies ever.

Ringing endorsement. 

Lets see.  Create some alt accounts.  Post a raffle.  Use alt accounts to confirm my identity/credibility.  Also have alt accounts claim they are "in" to generate a false sense of urgency to act.  "A few spots still available."  "While supplies last".  "Don't miss out". 

Possibly legit.  Probably not.

EDIT:  Definitely the boobies!
