Just saw the splash screen when logging in today.

If we did get them, they would be on the final chest in Shroud. When you open it it will show that you get 2 large scales but cannot take then. The mimic would then eat the scales and ddoor out.

unless they make them random chests that you have to kill in order to get the loot, it'll be stupid b/c after 1 day we'll just know which chests to avoid.

IF all chests had like a 10-15% chance to turn into a mimic that is 2-3 levels above the quest level and you HAD to kill it to get your loot, that would be AWESOME.  i think

It's a chest that attacks you sometimes.  Single mob spawns are rarely anything special so I'm guessing this is mostly a flavor add on for those who really wanted these in game.  That said it's never a bad thing when they add a new monster type to the game.

Yes please. If for no other reason than because there's been plenty of times I've wanted to bash a raid chest for not dropping my fucking belt of brute strength/chattering ring/7 fingered glove.

Seriously that titan raid's such a pain in the ass the drop rates should be huge and if the party gets skunked we should be able to beat the piss outta the chest.

Trying to upload to a different site might help.

I personally use Photobucket because ImageShack is filled with spam.

Infused Chaos docent looks tasty.

I also like the disintegration guard on the other docent. Interestingly enough, I just started a WF sorc  Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy

Curious to see what might be unlocked with the "trace of madness" effect.

I'm liking the Unstable Handwraps.

These would be pretty good Boss Beaters on a Shintao Monk.

It's tough to decide between my +2 Holy Handwraps of GEOB and these though. Hmmm...

You can see all the Trace of Madness upgrades on live right now. Bind in the 12 tavern, die, then go to the planescaller's chamber. You get a long list of options.
