minimal amount of babysitting and I made 500ish crafting XP and converted a bucketload of lesser essences into greater essences.

I'll macro convert them back to lesser essences tomorrow.

It really does seem like the essence efficiency is outstanding since you get back most of your essences on shard deconstruction and you get 1 XP per 4 lesser essences used.

Also, I didn't see anything in the ToS or CoC that forbids macros.  Hopefully I didn't miss anything.



I would never consider doing that myself, but having a macro to click "craft" every 4 seconds isn't too bad.

There was a statement about macro use since the original ToS said no automation of game functions, but the original game box included a coupon for the G15 keyboard that has macro ability.

It was something a long the line of macros being OK, but if it becomes some sort of autonomous farming/botting system that it was grounds for immediate banning.

May have been before the great forum purge.


This seems like the ok side of macros since all you are doing is clicking in the same spot over and over and over and over again. In the end someone will probably complain about it and it won't be allowed. All I want is no stupid cooldown on the button pressing so I could just go click crazy for a few seconds and get 5 minutes of pointless grind done.

It's wonky, but it's the first link that I clicked on and it's free.

Not all macro programs work with DDO, but try

Autoit or Autohotkey.  Both of them are pretty much full on programming languages with DLL calls and everything.
