Sorcerer 101

Obviously there are tweaks you could make and things they leave out.  That said, I think they've managed to make a Sorc Guide that's not completely idiotic like their previous attempt at a 101 guide.

I wish they'd lock comments on that and just put a link to the forums saying, "Go here for further discussion."  That a) forces him to take it to the forums and b) allows for more thorough discussion that would let any new player with half a brain realize what he's on about.

The biggest problem with him posting there is that he's eloquent.  But it's all show with no substance behind any of the walls of text.  Anyone without prior game knowledge or generally good abilities at analyzing content might not realize this and might assume the longest/wordiest comments are the most likely to be correct.

Of course, I also feel like he's going to get drowned out.

It would probably be better not to allow comments anyway just because it's going to turn into a mess.

I imagine FordyTwo is sitting somewhere in a dark room with an empty bottle of whisky. First he gets lambasted for not prioritizing CON enough, rightly corrects the issue, and now the neanderthals of DDO are bashing him over prioritizing CON.

On another note, someone should definitely roll up Snootch's Air Savant build. Base 8 Con, no Toughness, and if he has fidelity to his ideology that HP are evil on support classes, he's gonna be rocking a righteous 80 HP at endgame (presumably with 0% fort).

I find 'say' can be useful in some dungeon instances. And I love 'emote' Smiley  But if I ever got lame spamming in those I would turn them off too.
