Naw, they ported LOTRO to console. They haven't had enough time to put out a HP MMO.

I think I spotted one change since the downtime:  the link to view posts of posters you've ignored is gone.  I remember it being there within at least the past week, I think.  I wonder if it's intentional?

My ignore list consists only of Chai and Ungood, and while I'm glad not to see their idiocy on a regular basis, I sometimes am in the mood for a cheap laugh...

Yeah pretty sure it was intentional.  There was a thread several days ago, it was one of the ones complaining about Dispel being a massive asshat and being able to post 10 threads a day..

One of the complaints was in response to one of the forum mods saying 'just use ignore', which is worthless because you still see "This message is hidden because <asshat> is on your ignore list." along with the option to view the post anyway. 

This change appears to be their feeble reaction.

Yeah, now I'm conflicted.  Used to be "ignore unless I'm in the mood for some good derp".  Now I can't even see it when I want to unless I take them off.

That's pretty common.  I've been ordered to ignore probably half a dozen people (Q1 and Q2 are the only ones I can remember).

You don't have to like PvP on the DDO forums.  I have had post after post, thread after thread that was anti-PvP and I have never been infracted for it.

They do look closer at the PvP forums though because they know that it's an emotional hotspot to people like me.

Cordovan told me to put Chai on ignore.  It was a little more direct than what popejubal got, I think: "Please put this user on ignore."  It was due to this thread: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=310081

I put Ungood on ignore due to the same thread (or a related one), when it became apparent that he somehow managed to exceed Chai in stupidity, lack of reading comprehension, and lack of any basic understanding of logic.

Wow that guy is a real piece of work.  I see what you mean about Ungood failing on so many levels.  He may have to join Chai on ignore too  Roll Eyes
