i could be wrong about this but i dont think sulu in VoD can stack multiple curses (but does in tod). but ive always tanked him with high AC characters so i rarely get cursed anyhow. this does make it a bit different tanking him for fleshy no AC types as you dont  lose nearly as much aggro by drinking a pot every once in a while. may also change with difficulty levels

Fuck, I hold aggro even when I get my own curses.

I play on Argo and there are a ton of great players at high level, but for some reason, there aren't many that like to PUG VoD as a tank.  Smiley

It might be because most of us used the old exploit where if you abandoned the quest you could pick it back up again.  Ahh, 20 toons geared out in one weekend Cheesy

I just read that the cat followed up by visiting the dog house later that night, dropping some Willie Pete in on the sleeping dog.  #epochsfamiliarFTW

When I do tank Vod, its on Smrti and its just to help out friends and guildies. Even as a wf though, I get my own curses. Usually there is some masses going off so I get some extra healing if the casters are being retarded. It also works well for ToD.

Because your monk is a glasscannon.  That is all I read.

Dukkha sits comfortably at around 600 hp.

I just prefer to get the benfits of my tharnes goggles and I'm practicing for his next life (rogue).

Lies and propaganda!

G-L-A-S-S C-A-N-N-O-N

On a more serious note - get some threat reduction.  You will need to learn to work it in as a geared out rogue.

There are a few characters that I would like to outfit with threat reduction.  Gear that lets you do more damage is nice, but gear that lets you actually USE the full damage output that you already have is even better in a lot of circumstances.

It's disappointing that there are so few sources of threat reduction.  Tharnes Bracers are abot the only thing that I can actually think of that would fit for my fighter right now.

Already have both pieces of the tharnes set (now I don't steal as much aggro.

Going halfling most likely next life for my tr, so I'll have full ranks in guile. It'll work.
