anyone run one yet? ran it last night on elite and it took forever. had no idea why... apparently its happening to everyone. completed through 4 infernos was kind of fun. was on my arcane though and drank a couple pots which isnt usual. we also got not a single piece of loot. anyways thread here

This is what happened -

Crafting was going to be a time and plat sink.

They broke crafting.

To fix it they upped the abbots HP increasing your chance of chucking a piece of greensteal accidentally.

New plat/time sink achieved.

eh its because my cleric got both his litany and staff on his 40th now I never have to run it again so turbine decided it was finally ok to make abbot hard again *passes a $50 to creepy helf dude*

Paladins and Clerics yes.  Rangers, no idea.  FVS, they don't need to care.

What the abbot melts greensteel now?

the greensteel bug actually has nothing to do with the abbot itself its just the only time you use a throwing weapon thats non returning. most all of you have probably noticed the throwing animation using a returner then switching to another weapon mid throw. you'll change weapons and the throwing animation will still happen with melee weapon in hand. you just dont lose anything because you are using a returning weapon. but you can test this with any finite stack of throwing objects and a crappy weapon. so always be weary using any non-returning object and switching weapons.

when you use a throwing weapon that is not returning the game reduces the number of weapons you have in your hand by one. If you throw something then quickly swap weapons the game will still reduce the number of weapons in your had by one after you have equipped your melee weapon.

Ya unless they changed it in 10.1 FVS are immune to quell... Well I'm not sure if they're immune or if turbine forgot to add them to quell's targeting list for the spell.

running orchard stuff but my paladin did.  Those things definitely “smell” a divine.


Because of a number of runs that had serious issues due to clerics being intercessed
I didn’t let my FvS go in there before getting an Atonement.  He did get hit by quells
in Vol, so I presumed the raid quells would be an issue as well.
