the only thing surprising is it has taken this long for someone to realize they can form a sub-guild with only 6 ftp accounts and share the login info with guildies. Parent guild sets up a guild page with scheduling times and there you go. 24/7 renown farming and ship invites for the entire parent guild.

Airship buffs are the biggest mistake ever made in this game.

They cheated. The leader of D O M I N I O N told me he's making another guild, too. I M P E R I U M or something.

Yes!  Guild level 100!  What do they win? Oh, that is right... nothing!   Congratulations!  I think if they hit guild level 101 they might get  +3 str shrine!

I thought they got cloaks to display on their character models.

Good, guild bonuses are powerful enough as they are, especially when levelling.

Reaver's Reach runes - 1 character kills the wilderness bosses and 5 dual boxes all pass their runes to the 6 person guild character.  Repeat ad nauseum until that character has a bajillion runes.

Chug a potion of renown boosting.

Turn in those bajillion runes and get a ton of renown because of the small guild multiplier and the renown boosting potion stacking.

This used to work with antique bronze tokens and that's why you used to see people with WTB 1 million antique bronze tokens posts in the other forum's server trade subforums.  They were buying renown.

The guys on the forum who track renown aren't sure that this is how Rebellion is doing it. They've has had some spikes where they're getting more than a million renown an hour.  It's not clear that even with a potion running,  that you could actually turn in tokens that fast (not sure how many tokens you can have in a backpack.  It may have been 100k when this happened). 

Additionally, their renown spikes don't coincide with renown weekends.  If its true that they were organized enough to farm/buy a million+ tokens, it's really weird   that they skipped turning in on the renown weekend.

The possibility that they are exploiting a bugged end reward and that the devs/GMs somehow can't deal with it seems strong to me.  (This can't be discussed on the other forum as it would be an exploit)
