I think the exploit referred to was:
After the dragon is killed, but before you were booted from the instance, Alt+F4 and relog. You get the scale from the kill, and came back into another instance and run again; repeat when dragon dies again.
If enough other people were doing it, you could pike each instance.

At least that's my understanding.

Err, I have heard different versions.

1 - relogging at completion
2 - Instance switching
3 - Same as the noob event in harbor, DD.


  I DD'ed because I also got my key back.  It was a win win win.  Scales and my key! WOOT!  Then do some work as I sat by the door.  Then hop in the instance and fiddle around for 5 minutes.  Then, DD the shit out of the event and hop through door to keep my key.  I didn't always keep my key as I got stuck in the DD, but 9~12 scales made up for it.  I also got free ing sitting at the entrance.  It was a match made in heaven.  If I was on my monk, I went with 1.

I've been looking at the guild for several days now and if MyDDO works they are not earning any renown...

Actually the only character that appears active in the guild log seems to be unable to earn enough renown to cover for the decay.

The next horse race post is going to be interesting to analyze.

I suspect that most of them got hit by the Banhammer. It's just a matter of time until the guild goes back to oblivion.

Yes it is.

Both Rebellion and Reunion cannot keep up with the renown decay now.

Seems almost everybody from Rebellion was banned ( only one active account it seems ).

And Reunion tries to keep up by recruiting people.

Now it also appears that some of the Reunion people left some time ago and reside in other guilds like the Judges of Sarlona. ( which is a big guild... thus making me think Reunion and Rebellion were offspring of the Judges...

anyway, seems the case is closed.
