Hello, I have more information on the level 100 guild Rebellion that has been using exploits to attain their renown.

I have been told this is a safe forum so I will post as much as I can.

First of all, yes they have been exploiting. Sojero, the guild leader even told me so when I was in the guild for about a week. He told me he was using various exploits in order to gain massive quantities of renown before taking a ''break'' in order to avoid suspicion.

When I learned the extent of his exploits I did the same thing I did yesterday, made a big scandal of it and got myself kicked from his guild. If anything, it was 100% intention.

Ok, so the exploit... The exploit is using a lesser reincarnate to make your character level 1 and be able to bug out the end rewards list in order to take as many items as you want without actually ''completing'' the quest. This, in turn, allows you to simply teleport to recieve the end reward item and teleport again in order to bug the list so you can rinse and repeat. This can be used to receive infinite renown, infinite raid loot reward lists, any loot list can be ''farmed'' through this method.

I have been told this exploit now by 3 different people, one of the being the guild leader himself. I have also been told by 1 person that this exploit has recently been fixed or is in the process of being fixed. Turbine is aware of this now, they have sent me a few PM's telling me the issue is in the proccess of being fixed and has been looked into... Oh yeah, they also managed to sneak in a ''you now have a ton of infractions'' PM in there as well...

So now you know a lot more then I could tell you on my original post, the one that has been deleted, and I hope this clarified your confusion with ''how were the exploiting'' because I can gaurentee you there was exploiting involved.

This is also just the first step, as the guild leader Sojero knows many more exploits including how to receive large quantities of Ioun stones. He told me some of these things, and this player is finding more ways to hack the game. I think the first step to stopping him is to abolish his cheated guild and eventually force him to quit. He has been banned on one account I believe (Syphiroth, or is he still around?), but he still lurks on Sojero.

I thank you for reading this post, and will try to update with more information if needed. Please note that there is still much that you do not know that I am not posting right now, this issue is much larger then you think and I thank those who understand what is truly going on.

What you posted above was ok but a bit confusing. If I were a Dev or something, there's not much to go on if I wanted to replicate the issue.

I can, however I have been told that the exploit has been fixed for anyone who has not LR'd yet... However, Sojero, the guild leader has a character who is still undergoing the LR process IE he has never fully LRd... The characters who never exited the LR Process were never fixed, allowing him to keep exploiting. If you were to replicate the exploit yourself you wil find you cannot leave the boat, however if you have a character (like Sojero's) who LR'd many months ago and never finished LRing then he can still leave the boat to exploit the end rewards and get infinite renown... The issue itself was never retroactivly fixed by Turbine, but has only been fixed for new reincarnates...

What you posted above was ok but a bit confusing. If I were a Dev or something, there's not much to go on if I wanted to replicate the issue.

1. Finish quest.
2. LR before claiming end reward.
3. Teleport from boat to quest area claim end reward.
4. Teleport back to boat.
5. Repeat.

How do they teleport off the boat? How do they get back on?

With teleport? But that wouldn't explain the getting back trick....

My guess is

Teleport off boat.
Grab list.
Log out.
Log back in on the ship (perhaps an automatic thing).
Repeat.

Not so much if you are triple boxing.

If they were bugging out end rewards lists,  large quantities of Ioun stones would eventually be available to them as well.

That's a really nice exploit.  I'd have come back to enjoy that if I'd heard of it before now.
