I just rolled up a sorc, realized I pretty much suck at just being a pure caster.  Well, actually reinforced my knowledge that I don't like being just a caster.  If they can do some traps, some melee, etc, I might give it a go.

Level your bard to 20 then TR it into a Artificer. 

I think overall Bards make a better support person unless your in a group with all WF tanks then Artificer probably is the way to go.  Their bonus to wf tanks and weapons offset what you would get from a bard song from the way it looks.  But with Half Orc you dont see as many WF tanks because Half Orc Melee is the best option atm for Melee.  Maybe this will help bring back WF melee to the degree it was.

I prefer WF but H-Orc has way more melee benefits now than WF and if they nerf H-Orc so be it I will go right back to WF and love every minute of it.  But if Artificers benefit WF and alot of people play an Artificers looks like I will be TR'ing Marines again in WF.  Right now he is H-Orc and kicking ass.

here is what the Wiki has for the Artificers Infusion list.  It has gotten bigger since I first checked them I noticed Reconstruct was added.

It seems that this is the Rogue, Bard combo that can help Melee weapons by adding bonuses and banes, elemental damage etc.

I may end up playing one with this new infusion list.  Seems though WF would be the best race for this class as it has repair infusions it also has some Cure's but seem a little weak IMO

Stats seem a bit spread out though, Con, Int, Charisma, Wisdom(maybe), Dex for traps if you care.  Str if you want to melee.
