So usually the long story short is "the fun stuff". For the sake of example, the very front page of your site includes profanity words in the quote and the usergroup titles. With one click into any sub forum it took me about 3 seconds to land on a page filled with the F word, the C word, the Z word (don't ask), and so on.
From your list of "things you can do on the vault":
The ones in red are things you can't do on our site, so we therefor can't have users direct-linking to them on a 3rd party site. The ones in (edit: blue) seem innocent enough, but tend to result in people taking the fight into the vault then dragging it right back in with a link. This is the kind of stuff that prompted the inability of people to link to the vault in the first place
I know you all like to have an "un-moderated" "free" environment, and hey that's fine and all... but when it comes to what is linked to from the official sites, the link destinations still have to comply with forum guidelines.
