Yeah, on my personal Endgame build I went rogue first level for the skill points etc. The one I posted was tweaked for Epoch and his hatred of rogue... Allowing him to be more Dps focused right out the gate. My human build at endgame has epic traps and some locks, max move silent, hide, and balance along with 39 umd unbuffed.

It's only taken me 5 years to get the build the way I want it from the days before everyone had a batman, through going for AC finally to it's present state with more Dps all target dps and wide versatility. Maybe now I can move on to another concept  Tongue

I have a similar halfling build.  15 16 14 10 10 13, one level Monk splash dropping Pally to 6.
I find that I prefer the monk splash. Better AC while leveling, and the ability to use wraps when needed (oozes/skellys/portals/etc).
KotC1/Assassin2.

Indeed, the way I levelled my human I had 1 monk level, but I went Human instead of halfing for the skill points with the option of going back to monk, I tried it for a month at endgame and Pally gave more (longer divine favor and better smites) for how I run. Halfling would offer better Sneak DPS for sure and more AC but would be tough to fit all the action points here I want them

Halfling will bad for my playstyle as I level.  Chances are I would have most of the aggro in a pug.  I mean, have you seen most pugs? I can clear a quest in the time it takes them to run to the end of it, poor saps.

I love it when you join a pug and you're eating a bowl of cereal and you're kind of taking your time and you're still halfway through the quest and they're trying to catch up. It's like what the fuck are you doing?

I am notorious for eating as I play.  I also feel no shame in letting people know what I think with mouth full of food.  My rage is not tempered by people unable to understand what I say.

I ran with Sergod so much that it doesn't phase me anymore honestly. Rage just makes me laugh and then I intentionally do things to make people rage.

Ask Ben how many times I let him get down to like 10% hp just to hear him rage about me not healing him :X

No wonder you hate rogues, your build is a steaming pile of shit! Smiley

Try this:

1st level rogue, 2nd barb,  3rd-rogue, 4-9 barb, 10-20 rogue.

Half orc, max str.
stunning blow, power attack, cleave, twf, itwf, gtwf, toughness.

Stunning blow + sneak attack is cute.

Kundarak delving boots + sleet storm scrolls  is more DPS than any other class. You can get away with using a pair of bodyfeeder kukris of lesser vampirism and still do stupid lots of damage with sneak attack. Cleave is beautiful in this situation.

Toughness enhancements negate the low HP

power attack + frenzy tears through undead/constructs/bosses

Good luck Wink

Only for the spells that you actually give a crap about.

That's why I created an alternate account with two bank characters.  One character is exclusively for scrolls that aren't available from vendors and the other is for metal blank weapons so that I don't have to crap up my character bank on my crafter when I find a bargain on the AH (two Silver Khopeshes for under 10k last week!).

Go pure 20 Rogue - Human dual wielding khopesh with:

TWF, ITWF, GTWF, IC, PA, Toughness, Exotic weapon, Quickdraw

You'd be extremely satisfied with the dps.

How can I be satisfied with dps when 99% of the time I am going to have aggro?

Oh, I can't.

Blind stuff runs around, which annoys the fuck out of me.  It is for a TR, and I tend to level with random people joining my lfms so I can watch them die and laugh as they cry about me red skulling the dungeon.  Also, not grabbing their stones.  Backwards is not the way to completion.

My guild tends to not keep up with me while powerleveling.  Most people don't.

I look at it this way, if you're holding aggro 99% of the time in your group on your rogue, then it's probably for the best of the group you're holding aggro.

If there is not one other melee in the group that can sustain aggro from you a majority of the time the more likely it is that group will be better off with your rogue tanking to begin with.

I think a few of you are missing the point. He hates rogues. He doesn't want to play a rogue. He doesn't need advice on how to be more rogue-like, he needs a build that he can play like a non-rogue. I mean, my main is a rogue and I love them, but it's like telling someone that they'll like chitlins if only they will try them. Chances are, if they don't think they will, they won't.

So looking at the boobies, I'd dump cha and wis and put int at 10 if you don't give a damn about traps. You should have enough for scrolls up to level 18 with an item anyway. Max strength and put an extra couple points in con. You could consider doing 6 levels of fighter instead of just 2 for the extra fighter toughness and strength, but that's shit you can play with. Rogues generally depend on sneak attack for damage, so if you don't want to mess with that and plan on having aggro, you'd damn well better max your strength and put more into con. For skill points, I'd put points in spot too since it's just nice to be able to see the lurkers. If you want to dump int, you might have enough skill points anyway for what you listed, I haven't checked.
