If you do think you will end up coming back, I suggest you do the following: 1) Buy points when they are on a good sale 2) Spend points on things like quest packs when they go on a good sale I have two accounts with everything - all adventure packs, races, bank slots, etc - I think it cost me about $100 for everything (per account).� Would have been $250+ without all of the sales. And now I can leave and return on a whim, without ever paying for something I'm not playing. VIP is a shitty deal. Premium, when done this way, is a pretty good deal.

	Premium is the only way to go I think. If they create a raid/class or make an update you like; you pay them for it. If they suck sweaty monkey balls; like on this update, they you can tell them to go to hell by not paying for any of it. VIP is just saying "Here; just take my money monthly; I don't give a shit what you do wit hthe game" Premium is saying "Make content I like; and then I will pay you for it". I personally cannot see me going VIP ever again.

Also, prices are going up in general and the new packs have been released pretty often. I'm guessing now it's at least $100 per account with all packs unlocked and a bit left over for shared banks and character slots.

	I'm VIP because I'm impulsive, impatient and lazy, so there's no way I could sit around and wait for all of the important packs to go on sale before doing another dragon or w/e. Plus, I do still really like opening Elite on first/second lifers and getting an extra week to play new content. Even if it ends up costing me more over the course of a couple of years, it's worth it.

Premium still works out to a ridiculously better deal if you play for a year or more. Subscription model is good for trying the game out (beyond F2P) but after that it quickly becomes a waste of money. In fact, given the rate that they've been releasing adventure packs, you could probably go VIP for a month or two for the perks when needed and STILL be cheaper.
