I keep  seeing all over the forum and on sigs that people are cancelling their subscription because artifcers are not free to vips. Well fvs havent been free either and no one's been complaining.
I know fvs came with the favor to unlock them but the complaint i keep hearing is " am cancelling my VIP account because artificers arent free to vip" with issues of favor being pretty much sidenote if mentioned at all.
Well, i know the lack of favor to unlock is kinda annoying but cancelling ur substriction? Really? Makes no sense.Sounds to me like a buncha loud people over reacting and buncha stupid folks following like mindless zombies.( or if you've been waiting to unsubscribe for a while but didn't until you saw the loud crowd doing so. That would probably place slightly higher than the mindless zombie crowd but still...)
The intial complaint had merit but people are just over reacting. Its also extremely annoying to see it on other news sites...

Thing is they don't seem to be squirming because they know they will make enough to offset a handful of rage quits and most of those eventually come back.


Look at all the FVS rage posts for prime examples.

I went ahead and unlocked them today even bought another char slot for it. I get 500 TP a month as a vip and  never spend them so really wasn't any skin off my back.

I bought Arty. For 995 points.

That's how much I got for free (basically) for not spending any points in 2 months.

Damn, so hard to get it...

Considering that fact AS WELL AS they are 100 TP more than Favored Souls. It's just kind of a low-blow to VIP, I'm not cancelling but it does sting like a slap to the face.

That's how I saw it. Anyone who's been VIP for the last 2 months got the value of the artificer in bonus points.

Better really for some people. Those who want arti can just use the bonus points, those who don't get 1000 points to spend on whatever.

The only reason I have stayed at VIP is because I can afford to spend $10 a month for a game  and I get instant access to the new quests.  I couldn't care less about the cost of Arti or if you have to wait a while to unlock it with favor.

I see the money I spend per month as a constant source of income to the company that has made a game that has kept my attention for the past 5+ years.  I hope this game keeps going on as I still haven't found one thing that was utterly shocking that it would cause me to leave the game forever.

People need to take a step away from the ledge, it's going to be ok!

Prior to Monday, Artificers did not exist so they were not covered by any previous material. If my reading serves me correctly it always said some classes were unlockable via purchase or favor.  They never said they would be favor unlockable on the day of release.  There was no guarentee of that.  The class will eventually be favor unlockable in free in the next update.  Nothing was violated except when you jammed the remote control up your ass in rage.
