Thanks to Cannith crafting, I think that applies to all melees.  A +4 Holy Silver of EOB (and other variants) is so easy to make.

I wonder how a +4 Holy Silver of EOB with Deadly Weapons will stack up against a Lightning II with Silver on bosses.

I have not touched it myself. I will probably eventually but not for a while. I barely even play the game anyway.

I wonder how the Cannith dr breakers with Deadly Weapons (once implemented) will stack up against Lightning II with Silver.

once implemented they will probably put it in completely bugged and have it reduce damage or something.

Right now, I'd be happy to just be able to hit a moving target and not have half my swings not register.  It's perfect.  Create 2 raids with mobile bosses and then break hit proximity.

I just got that impression after you spent 13 pages calling out eladiun for being an interwebs bully when anyone who's been posting on here already knew that.  I mean, he's proud of it and hardly tries to hide that at all.

The best case for the Cannith weapon would be a Greatsword, since that has the highest base damage to double.

So, damage per attack of Cannith w/ DW vs. LitII w/ Silver, against 50% fort:

+4 HSEOB: (6 + 14) * 21/20 + (7 + 7) * 19/20 = 34.3
LitII: (5 + 10.5) * 21/20 + (7 + 3.5 + 12) * 19/20 + (5.5 + 5.5) * 4/20 + 14 * 1/20 = 40.55
+5 HBSGLOB: (9 + 14) * 21/20 + (7 + 10.5) * 19/20 + 10.5 * 4/20 = 42.875

Since all have the same crit profile, any additional base damage, or seeker damage, would cancel out.  So, the basic HSEOB is worse than the LitII, but the deluxe HBSGLOB beats LitII by a little.

For Falchion:

+4 HSEOB: (6 + 10) * 22/20 + (7 + 7) * 19/20 = 30.9
LitII: (5 + 7) * 22/20 + (7 + 3.5 + 12) * 19/20 + (5.5 + 5.5) * 6/20 + 14 * 1/20 = 38.58
+5 HBSGLOB: (9 + 10) * 22/20 + (7 + 10.5) * 19/20 + 10.5 * 6/20 = 40.675

The relative differences are about the same.  Note that these numbers should not be directly compared to the Greatsword numbers, as each scales differently with additional base damage.

For Khopesh:

+4 HSEOB: (6 + 9) * 23/20 + (7 + 7) * 19/20 = 30.55
LitII: (5 + 5.5) * 23/20 + (7 + 3.5 + 12) * 19/20 + (11 + 11) * 4/20 + 14 * 1/20 = 38.55
+5 HBSGLOB: (9 + 9) * 23/20 + (7 + 10.5) * 19/20 + 14 * 4/20 = 40.125

So again, about the same.

I've done MA a few times now, and there's one thing that puzzles me: Ronny's movement AI.  It seems like sometimes he's well behaved and stays still and just attacks the tank while the rest hit his back.  Other times, he wanders around aimless, like someone is kiting him, but noone is, and he doesn't actually seem to be aggro'd on anyone in particular.  Does he just have some "random wander" movement mode that he goes into sometimes?

snip nice maths

Thanks!  Kind of what I figured and honestly the way it should be.  If you can craft top of the line Cannith stuff it should beat the LitII's.  The stuff that can be crafted around 60'ish skill iirc should trail LitII's quite a bit.  Even my lazy butt can make the +4HSEOB's on my crafter. Smiley
