Yes, I read the other forums.. By clicking that link, you will be as well.

Handwraps fixes (which means handwrap unintended consequences).

Crystal Cove loot to become BtC on upgrades. Old gear is supposed to stay BtA until it is upgraded, but I'll be shuffling gear off of storage characters just in case.

Edit to add - nerf to Mabar wraps is coming too.

Further update - ton of posts from him clarifying. Sounds like the change already took place on live.

Thanks for the heads up on this.  I've already moved a couple pieces of gear now for when the hotfix is applied and we discover that the BtA grandfathering didn't work correctly.

My favorite part is that Jerry and Major are directly contradicting each other with regard to whether or not slotting a crystal in a red slot affects the binding status of that particular item.

They were.  They aren't any longer.  It looks like Maj's definition if "upgrade" was broader than the truth, and that the only upgrade that will change them in any way is the barter box in Cove, and nothing else.

Little discrepancies like that don't bother me.  A mistake was made in the description, but the error was on the side of caution.
If people were told that removing/slotting epic crystals would turn previously BTA items BTC, but they actually stayed BTA, then people wouldn't be upset.
If they were told that they would stay BTA, but actually became BTC, people would be livid.
Erring on the side of caution will never be viewed negatively in my eyes.

But now that he's changed his statement, it better damn well work that way....
Hell, if I were Maj, I'd want to have a chat with Jerry asking him to not make concrete statements like that until we were sure it was working.
Under promise and over deliver, not the other way around.

I do actually really like that he fully assume the fact that he was wrong, and say that he was wrong openly.

So basically...just grind out all the ingredients on high level characters to max out the ingredients/run and then log on to whatever toon you want to make those items for?

Agree.  I don't see what the big deal is.
Although I was planning on making a few random items for as-yet-not-rolled toons, and now I won't be able to.

It would be nice if they put the barter box just outside of the cove in the harbor. That way you could stockpile ingredients and make items as needed.
