I see we have a patch tomorrow, and I hear noises about Maban being unlocked on Lama. I presume this means Maban will start tomorrow?

You know what they say about presuming.

It makes Uma Thurman the president or some shit.

Who can say...they can move the code over then just enable with the flip of a switch.  It's probably too early for Mayban though I would expect a big announcement from the Marketing shlubs.  I would expect Mayban to start on 10/21 and run to 11/7 though.  But that's just a wild guess...

I hope Maban doesn't start soon. I just got my guildies back from that cove bullshit. I don't want to lose them to Maban mote farming so soon. I hate pugging!  Angry

Honestly, if it's the same stuff as last time I have little desire...outside of the wraps and I don't have a monk the gear was all meh.  Maybe I'll make a cloak...and be social for a bit.  The best part were the guild mote farming groups.  We had a pretty good time fooling around to break the monotony.    I'll have to run my healer since Dres will likely not be capped again.

If you aren't a Monk, a PM, or looking for a Nightshield clickie or two the gear from Maybar is crap.  The cloak was nice before the Envenomed was released but even then mostly on AC builds.

Maybe I'll make a few hundred potions of Irrian's Light to go with all my Wind Elies for TR goodness.

I want to make a couple of nightshield clickies for the completionist, upgrade my monk's handwraps and probably make two or three cloaks. I know envenomed is better, but the odds of me ever having more than one full set of epic Abashai are slim to nil, I think. So I get what I can.

Not looking forward to mote farming though. At least I can run it while the builders are here as I don't have to co-ordinate anything, unlike Cove.

*grumble*

I'm getting more pissed as I think about this...this festival has what 3 items if you ignore the shitty wands and you lump the docent and the cloak as one.  There is pretty much zilch for melees (monks not included) and divines. Crystal Cove had 10 items if you count the Hat.

Yah the mast part of Mabar for me was getting to hang out in a guild group and bs with everyone.  I've capped a monk since the last one, so I will probably make the handwraps since I've sort of ignored her as far as gear grinding goes.  Plus this time I'm in a much smaller guild, so I'll have to talk dirty to Eladiun and pledge sexual favors to Sisster to let Stainer and I tag along with them.   Grin

Deal as long as you promise that Stainer won't talk dirty to me...it makes me feel like Warren Beaty in Deliverance.

Yes, I meant Ned Beatty...doh.  Though it's not as much fun to make fun of stainer when he is in vagina and can't respond.

Kill Bill version of Uma Thurman? That would be a fantastic debate.
