In order to make gold, you have to sell. You should never ever lose more then you spend after you get your skills up. After you buy your alch ing, sell off the stupid potions. Craft rings while smithing then enchant them then sell them. You get two rings for the cost of one amulet - win.
You can level up all 4 at the same time. Speech, smith, enchant, alch and make billions*.
*(ok tens of thousands, but billions sounded better)

I've got a huge stockpile of alchemy ingredients in my house at Whiterun. 500+ lbs. That's where a lot of my money went. I'll do a big crafting push to try to get my level up then sell off. That's why I don't have any money :p

Well if you have the banish daedra enchantment it helps alot as you can make a huge profit just enchanting iron daggers it. Don't bother enchanting anything besides weapons unless you plan on using them as the profits aren't all that great and when enchanting weapons just use petty soul gems as the profits don't really increase with others. It is really just finding which enchantments on items will net you the most profit.
Here is a list for the most profit worthy enchantments.
Weapons-Banish Daedra or Absorb Health
Armor-Fortify Destruction or Fortify Conjuration
Gauntlets,Boots,Rings,Necklaces-Fortify Sneak or Fortify Carry Weight
Helms-Fortify Archery or Fortify Destruction
Shields-Magic Resistance or Shock Resistance

At this point, I'm just throwing whatever trash enchantment comes up when I'm scrolling because I'm just trying to level it up toward 100. All I do is hit up the enchanter in my house while I'm dropping off dragon bones, and enchant whatever jewelry I've picked up while dungeoning around. I've made it to 64 like that so far, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to make a huge push to get to 100 soon so I can get my armor where it ought to be. Which is fucking annoying.
On the bright side, I don't have to worry about money, because being head of the thieves guild makes it much, much easier to find someone to take all of my stupid rando loot when it's sale time. I've bought and fully decorated every house in the game. I don't think I've even walked into some of them.

I'm sorry I haven't been playing much (or at all) over there. All those TRs and in-need-of-epics toons are hard to maintain. And once CC ended, I got my guidlies back which was the biggest reason to go over. Plus being on a 28 point build sucks ass. I haven't had to make one of those since 2006.
