What to do with a lvl 7 horc monk

And before you say 'reroll' it's 36pts with 2x fighter PL.

What can I say? I hate playing male helves.

9/11 monk fighter I guess. Level ups in str and stuff the DCs. Unarmed fighter.

Thoughts?

Why are you asking? Do you not like your Horc Monk?

Because horcs are not the best choice for pure monks.

No.

My 2nd TR clonk is 16 holding 17 tyvm. And she'll get TRed helf next life. Again clonk. This guy is a melee all the way.

why not a pure dark monk strength build? drilltex is a wf based on the 'metaru' build - I imagine one could do the same with a horc, the only drawback being that he does rely on healing a bit, but the jizz bracers in fire stance (which will buff your strength even more) help with the healing amp

I should point out that this is a TR life only. I will then park him at cap until gender change becomes available.

Shame. I really like playing monks.

Ty suggestion Chris. He has the non-epiced bracers. I just wonder if I would get more out of him with fighter. Guess I'm more looking for just what is fun. 3rd past life fighter doesn't hurt either

Well, with 2x Fighter PL and all that Horc Str, I would be tempted to make a stunning machine...Stunning Blow and Stunning Fist.

Other wise ask Xirek?

How can you say H-orc monks suck as a pure monk?  I call horseshit!

Str 18
dex 15, use +2 dex tome at 7
con 15
wis 16

Feats:
Toughness, stunning fist, stunning blow, twf, itwf, gtwf, the feat for shintao/nija spy (not the path feat at 3), toughness, and whatever else.

You can get your str as high as a fire stance monk - in wind stance.

This means, not only do you match their str, but you also get the 10% doublestrike that they wish they had.  This means, you win.

It is amazeballs.  The hp is kinda sucky in comparison to a wf, but oh well.

Light Monks? WF are best IMO.

Dark Monks? Half-Elves are best assuming you go with Ninja Spy as the PrE and Rogue as your dilettante selection.

Stunning fist DCs are based on wis - not a horc strong point and why my clonk can land them.

Xirek is WF. Mine has docents as his first life was WF.

Comments are appreciated though and I will be asking around a lot while I think about this.

Wisdom is as much of a strong point as it is on ANY race, exception being wf.  H-orcs take a hit to int and cha, neither one is useful to a monk unless you like to dance mobs.  Which as a melee, makes you a faggot.

With a 16 wisdom, keeping your wisdom item updated, in wind stance, and taking the first two wisdom enhancements for monk, you will be just fine.

WF make great light monks, my wf monk was shintao.  I wet my pants out of sheer glee every time I played him.

12 monk/8 fighter is always a good choice, and will net you the monk PL if you decide to TR again.

Based on that, it seems that the only question you need to really ask yourself is which past-life feat will give you the greatest benefit for future lives: fighter (you already have two), monk, or paladin?

Note to any Turbine staffers reading this, and one I genuinely hope you share around the office: DDO has become a shit game because y'all have made it a shit game. Once it was great. Now, it's a festering puddle of monkey diarrhea. No matter how you try to justify it, or pat yourselves on the back for doing great jobs... it's a shit game now because of you. Y'all keep on giving the players the middle finger, and you keep expecting us to reward you for the abuse. I've had it with you narcissistic fuckwads and your myopic policies of ineptitude.

2nd life for raversth was a dark horc monk.  Don't really see what the problem is?  Great self-sufficiency, respectable DPS, speed.  What more do you want? ;o

Loin is ok, as long as you slice it open and roll it out like a flat sheet. You can then stuff it with whatever suits your fancy.

You asked this question and it stopped me short and I've been thinking about it ever since....

I guess it finally came down to, I TRed him to a monk to practice monks 'cos I suck at them (playing them). I recently did a 2nd TR on a wiz for the same reason (warning - Melten is a 2nd TR but I still totally suck at him - must ask guildies if they will tolerate me practicing itd wiz practice Tongue  ).  Monks are super fun to play though. So while I guess I should aim for end game it's not really the point - the getting there and practicing playing him properly is the point.

So I'll probably continuing doing what I was doing anyway just as Epoch outlined ...

Roast pork is yummy yes. My butcher will butterfly it for me though Tongue  Suggested fillings: pinenuts, dried apricot, onion, sage, rosemary, pepper, breadcrumbs soaked in sherry.

Dukkha is a Dark HOrc monk, low WIS build.

I've pulled Sullo's aggro more times than I can count when I get my Strike Rotation going.
