As for your last point, your counter-example doesn't work unless you modify it. I don't think anyone is fucking stupid enough to conclude that because a person hates any individual woman/black/whatever they must also hate that entire population group. Rather, hating that individual while invoking sexist/racist language is the problematic part. You may only hate one black guy, but it still doesn't make it a very good idea to call him a nigger. The most significant difference between black men and white men is that black men generally look stupid with light colored hair while white men generally look fine with that color hair and white men generally look moderately dumb when bald while black men generally look cool bald.

O god, furbyoats.. Why.. Been craving good japanese sushi and sashimi forever and I still have to wait for another 2.5 weeks til my trip back to my home country.

I'm surrounded by people who have such westernised ideas of what japanese is. Things like Chili beef ramen. Chili. Beef.  Cry

What i wouldn't give for some slices of sashimi scallops wrapped in salmon, filled with wasabi mayonnaise and topped with some flying fish roe, grilled lightly on a fry pan. Served with genuine macha. The kind of tea that is actually green and thick and semi sweet bitter, not the insipid brown tea wannabies.
