	Not really, Turbine has made it pretty clear that getting DDO to run optimally is not their concern; it falls on the player to figure out how to get the best performance out of the game.

	Buy a Solid State Drive and run DDO on that. No defragging of the DDO DAT files ever needed!

	Anyway, with Thailand underwater, SSD is the way to go, their prices keep dropping while the price of regular HDs doubled in the last few weeks.

	Absofreakinlutely SSD. I just made that switch over on my work computer that I keep at home. The difference in the loading screens in-game is night and day, especially since I was on a HD that was too full to defrag it. It's just been phenomenal.

I don't get much lag as it is. I run around with <80 ms latency and <0.5% loss all the time, barring some pretty ridiculous circumstances. I'll just wait til I build my next desktop.
