Now that I know about the trash, I'm interested in taking another swing at that fucker one day.  Though I thought that stones teleported up to the top so that I could take another swing.  Sad

I think they only teleport up if they whole party wipes, not just one person.

Have they pimped the boss or something? I keep seeing "waaah come beat the boss for me" LFMs since U12, one from a group with two wizzies and a sorc in it ferchrissake.

I thought they changed it so on elite your stones do not get teleported out.  I know on elite you no longer have the portal at the end that takes you back to the first floor and no shrine there.  The fight is toucher as there are now red named elementals (Im blanking on if they are fire or air) that spawn, I believe air though from last life. So for all those folks that would send a fvs down there to bb and kite, if they get unlucky with a knock down it can go south quick. Will be going to Amrath tonight or tomorrow with this life of my tr projects so will get a reminder soon. Tongue

The air elementals in there are nasty so if you get knocked down you get nuked real fast.

It depends on the instance of the quest to get the following things:

-portal before drop to boss
-shrines before drop to boss
-getting ported up after dying


I have been in some really shitty instances of that quest where there was no portal, no shrines and no porting. Then reformed and the next instance there was all three.

Last PUG I joined something very interesting happened at the end fight. We sent one down to kill him. (Best method IMO is only one goes in at a time, but of course need the right group for that)

He got him to 50% and then messed up and died. We were all standing at the edge of the hole and who spawns right in the  middle of us? The demon !!

Was excellent, we beat him to a pulp in seconds jumped down grabbed the chests.

Anyone see this before? Was first for me and played the quest quite a bit.
