i want to upgrade my weapon to magic to use intelligence for my damage modifier. and i havent seen that smith yet so i guess i cant make those yet.

just killed the hydra on 2nd try. was stupid easy once you arent afraid to get closer to him lol. i thought to myself surely there is a way melees can kill this dude....ring seems like complete trash unless i get some bonkers ass sorcery spells lol. half my hp for extra casts? i have great heavy soul arrow and the regular one. going to go try to kill havel now. guess the technique is to not get hit at all? cause he one shotted me through blocking last night heh.

ya cause im getting to the point where my weapon does baby damage now since i havent been bumping dex or str and mostly just int and end secondary. so once i get a magic weapon or upgrade mine ill be doing a bit better as far as melee damage goes. although im only lvl 19 so not a ton of lvl ups anyways. some went into str and dex to use my weapons and thats about it.

That is 13. There isn't much exploration but there are still enemies you're supposed to avoid and come back to fight later but you could take on when you first encounter them with the right setup.

haven't been playing much while trying to buy another house and doing other shit. only just dabbled around in blighttown so far. seems like lots of annoying poison shit. that giant vagina mouth dragon you posted earlier in the depths was the weakest enemy of all time :/ the capra demon thing in the lower undead burg was an asshole though. well his dogs were really annoying...he killed me like 4 times ):< I was just beginning to wonder if there were any normal enemies who would ever pose a threat again...  I suppose I might be finding them in blighttown?

he wasn't that bad himself. pretty slow and could run around him and his attacks. his dogs kept hitting me in the back though and staggering me around. so took me a few tries to maneuver around them all so i could take them out without getting pummeled. he was super easy to kill once i had the dogs down. i actually feel like that fight would be easy if you didn't have that slow "I just walked through a fog door" animation.

well i did die a few times but i wish you were awesome too. as well as everyone else! also character build in this game does make a huge difference i would think. i dont know what revs highest lvl character builds were but some of the stuff is trivial if you have powerful spells. other stuff is easy if youre melee. luckily i can do both well enough to switch on an enemy whos resilient to one. rev also said the game was pretty easy up until the point i am in the game. I haven't died in blighttown yet but i really hate poison and ankle high water. i even found that remedy spell and still hate it so much. i also killed a black dragon thing in valley of the drakes guarding some items. the shield is pretty good. the shield youre using looks like havels? I didnt get that when i killed him i only got a ring ): which is actually pretty damn good but...
