But seriously, I bet turbine is making money selling the challenge pack from this exploit since its the fastest token farming in game. (~12tokens/hour from buying time)

I have been running these challenges quite a bit since released. let me tell you at first there was very few running them. now with the exploit, everyone seems to need epic tokens and suddenly we have pugs and channels advertising for them.

Yeah. Their "oops! tee hee!" attempt to both please long time players with tradeable goods and sell more of that challenge pack is about as well disguised as Macromedia offering barely locked full program download "30 day trials" of their software early last decade and then enjoying market dominance with Dreamweaver because once people got hired at corporations, it was all they knew how to use and so had to be purchased legitimately.

The rubes will mass purchase the challenge pack, assuming that this issue won't get fixed, the vets who want to get a slightly easier time of things for a while can opt to, and turbine makes more money. Works out well for everyone though so unless they start issuing bans? No sense in complaining.

Hmmm does that mean I need to be careful about taking large bags out of my shared bank?

The answer to that is no, as I just realized that I had a large bag with cannith ingreds in my shared bank and I took it out on my rogue to finish my stalker ring and then put it back in to pass to my FvS.

All this is great apart from the ''large chunk'' of playerbase that hasnt done anything because this bug is ''exploiting'' who continue to be disadvantaged. If they aint going to fix it anytime soon they need to ''fess'' up and legitimise the trading

I'm not participating in the exploit, but I do still have a large bad that's not BtC and I've had it for years...so they didn't fix it...yet.

I did check my hoard of bag... ( 10 Bags, 1 Small, 1 Tiny and 8 Large... most of the larges are unbound )

And all the unbound bags are still unbound, unless they contains something that binds them.

So they didn't change anything to the bags you have in your inventory.

Wasnt enough to get me buying, but then again, Im not interested in exploiting. And their continued lack of discounted adventure packs mean I am still not spending money on the game.

Yeah...I don't credit Turbine with a lot of sense or concern when it comes to Marketing DDO. Even the simple stuff doesn't seem to get a whole lot of attention. The splash screen advertising the sale of DDO Points cards has a 1,000 point card at a $9.99 price point and a 1,600 point card at a $19.99 price point. There's some lovely math for you. Tongue

My large bags are still unbound.

I was able to transfer a bound cannith shard to my ault account.

I'm hoarding all my gems in hopes that they break the bags again when they fix it.  I'd like them to break it so that when I push the sell gems button, it sells them but they don't leave my bag. Cheesy 

It may take a while to plat cap but I'm going to sit there and push that sell button like I'm in a corner furiously jerking off to two hot lesbians and Sara Palin with plenty of lube and toys. Cheesy

Ah!  That's entirely possible.  I didn't even think to look more closely at the denomination.  Or whatever you'd call that in a generic sense.  Of course, I'm an American, so we don't think about things like other countries having different monies. 

In fact, we were so tired of being confused by it that we intentionally fucked up our economy just so Australia and Canada's dollars could catch up with ours and it'd be easier to convert.  True story, not many folks know that.
