You don't have to speak of your "friend". it's ok, these blades hit really hard...
After all, they were right, no? They couldn't even 12-man a Shroud
. In all seriousness though: In a PuG, with people I don't know, I would probably wait to fill.

He really does have a friend (I know, hard to beleive). I'll pretend people care and tell the story.
Joined a PUG on my bard. There were a couple of mic hoggers and party chat gear linkers, but ok, it's shroud just go with it.
We end up filling and step inside. Already figured it wouldn't be super smooth, but it's normal shroud with gimp blades so how bad can it be?
This bad....
We kill a few portals (About 4 I think) then someone types in party chat that they didn't make it into the raid on time. The guy apologises (It happens) and I just figure to myslef, we'll end up 11 maning it.
For the rest of part 1, a few mic hoggers start debating about whether we can complete 11 man and whether we should reform.
Before you fall asleep readng this, the group decided (The ones talking) that the shroud was far to dangerous to 11 man so the group finished part 1, recalled and reformed.
I didn't mind staying while I was there for the first run, but once they gave me the get out of jail free card of a reform, that was it for me.
Madcow (Evandus and his 13458345734 alts) was in the run also and I think he also made a discreet exit.
