Sorry Epoc, I believe you are thinking of someone else.  I've been around for a long time and have always carried curse pots, especially for this raid. 

I was not able to get the spelling I wanted years ago on Riedra since it was already taken .  There are many similar names running around.

In fact I was using some to keep others up to try and get this completion. I also wear my cloak of curses during this raid as well.

I stayed in this raid despite its colorful getting to the quest adventure, which ended with the PL dc'ng and not coming back.

The problems we had with this run was stemmed from people not removing their curses - felt bad for the healers because of how many Spell points they threw away due to that.

It was a good attempt, and if I would have been just a little faster on my last LoH at the end it just might have turned out differently... but of course now we will never know.

That's the one thing that never ceases to amaze me about this raid.

Joined a PUG hard run and had 3 people accidently go to Hound (got killed by the beholder right on the other side of the portal) and 4 deaths of people who fell and red alerted the instance.

Me:"You may want to reconsider running this on Hard."
Idiot:"Norm doesn't drop +3 tomes, why even run it?"
Me:"Failing has even less of a chance of dropping +3 tomes. When more than half the party dies before we even step in, including both divines, you set up a fail party. Just get the completion and call it good."
Idiot:"In on Hard."

37 pots later......
Idiot:"Did you give the divines any pots?"
Me:"No asshole. I told you from the get-go this was a fail. Feel free to pay 2 mil plat for your own completions."
