Oh well, looking forward to the next game Tiy is working on.  Good on Red to put his family ahead of a highly profitable game however!

Unless he leaves things open enough that the community itself can continue development this is extremely poor form for a game that garnered so many sales based on a whole lot of "FREE CONTENT" promises that will now never be realized.

This is essentially a "THANKS FOR THE MONEY, FUCKERS!" style cut-and-run.

The game sold 200,000 copies the FIRST WEEK ALONE and over a million total for a TWO MAN DEV TEAM and six months of work (music was outsourced). Even if every single copy was sold during the $2.50/ea. sale and Steam took HALF, that's a fuckton of money that should be at least partially re-invested in the fans. If he wants to step back, fine - Hire a talented developer for $80-100k/year and supervise from home once a week.

Dropping it like this is shitting on the people who bought the game for the promised free content that was detailed as "upcoming" and never created.
