What server? I am not really "good", but running alone is very boring.
Lets say, I finish them succesfully.
By the way, the challenges scale A LOT.

I can bring Dracofulgur to help out.  I've gotten a couple of them mastered, and the rest I do decently in. On vacation all this week so I've been on quite a bit leveling Dracosanct - just send me a tell if you want

I need a ton of mats aswell. I would join on my bard, Qruck. I am familiar (solo regularly) with Lava Caves and Extraplanar Palace. When do you want to start farming?

I'm pretty good at them, but I also want to hurt the person at turbine who came up with the idea. It was bad enough with the crystal cove events drawing everyone away from real quests, but at least there weren't any particularly good items in it so at least I didn't have to participate, but these...

Now I feel that I have to get the frozen tunic and spare hand, at least, so I have come up with some time-saving tips:

-Solo; screw groups, they will always fuck up just enough so that you fail, but not so much that you aren't willing to give them a 2nd chance.

-Fast, simple completions; there's nothing fun anywhere deeper into them, either, so don't bother.

-Don't screw around; in the mining ones, do a quick scout, just a quick glance around each corner while the kobolds grab the close crystals, then grab the torches and a teleporter, pick the best direction, and go. In picture portals, for example, grab all the crests in the first area, but after that, only the ones on the way, and head straight to a boss to complete.

Alternatively, I have seriously considered paying other people to go through them to gather the ingredients just so that I don't have to waste my time on those improved suggestions for tormenting the damned that satan ultimately rejected as being too cruel.

"Science makes godlike -- it is all over with priests and gods when man becomes scientific. Moral: science is the forbidden as such -- it alone is forbidden. Science is the *first* sin, the *original* sin. *This alone is morality.* ``Thou shalt not know'' -- the rest follows."

Which fucktons of challenge ingredients do you need? I'm half decent at the rushmore challenges, dragon palace and kobold island. On khyber with odd playtimes. The lava caves are not as easy for me but I've also only tried them a few times.

Speed and manageable sized groups definitely key.

I'll be farming them shortly after I cap my bard, who is about to start litany farming tonight.

I'll be looking first at getting a few base items (tunic, belt, rings, chime, etc) for upgrades. Then, lvl 21 challenges for T3 upgrades to all of them.  If I don't burn out doing those, I'll be trying for a few Calomel weapons for eVoN :p

I'll have a list for it all soonish.

Made my list of items. Will see how many ingredients I'll need in total to get it all done.

Idk how to calculate run totals though.

I'm in a similar boat.

What's a decent haul-per-run amount if I were to solo on an evokr fvs?

A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.

I do know 1 star in rushmore: picture portals = 150ish.

4 stars on extra planar was about 3-400

From my own experience, for CR21+ challenges:

- Colossal Crystal: 300-500 in 15 min, depending on map.
- Time is Money: 100-200 in 5 min, though I tried it for the first time yesterday.
- Dragon's Hoard: It's been a while, but I think 400ish in 20 min, not sure.
- PP: As Blank said, about 150. Crappy challenge with a crappy rate.

Not too familiar with the Kobold Island ones. Soloed Short Cuts couple of times, should be much easier in a group.

The mining ones are easier solo, if you have perks like DDoor. If you are/have a bard, you can solo CR25 Time is Money without killing a thing. Similar with Colossal Crystal, but have to kill things there sometimes.

Kobold Island is horrible in group. HORDES attacking the extractors. It is really a very exagerated ammount. Yes, you kill them all, but they stop your extractor. I have to rethink my tactict when in group in this one.

Get 6 bards Smiley. Activate/Upgrade your extractors. Fascinate whenever something approaches an extractor. Done Smiley.

EDIT: Except the undead one, that sucks on a bard.

The meaning of CC in my static group consists only in : Crystal Cove. End of it. My brother plays a wiz and I had to tell him several times that Wall of Fire was quite a good spell. Next time I will try to convince him to use web + wall of fire. I have to take small steps.

Wait, so there are different levels of gimp? Some that, no matter what, you should not sink to?

Depends on what you are running and what classes you are bringing in.
