	Arkat's definitely got the right of this one. Apostrophes replace missing letters, like the "ou" in "You all." Pretty easy to get right. Growing up in the South doesn't mean you've got a bead on Southern spelling and grammar any more than growing up in America means you've got a bead on spelling and grammar with English in general.
