Challenge pack!

Quick question, can I buy the spare hand outright, or do I have to get the base and upgrade it? Also, what quests would I have to farm to do that? Also, can I just use a caster or are all the ing btc? I don't know much about challenges, they were introduced when I quit and haven't looked at them since I came back.

All ings, and even items before tier 3 are bta. You can make a base level 20 spare hand outright, will need to upgrade for tiers 2 and 3 tho

Edit: oh and it's labor shortage, picture portals and time is money, all easily soloable on a caster

1) n00b, L2P, P2W.

2) You can get the spare hand right away (for example, lvl 8 skipping lvl 4). Then, tier 2 and tier 3.

3) Farm. If you only go to tier 2, is not a big problem. Cannot remember exactly. Tier 3 you have to farm with higher lvl same account toon.

But really, it is quite easy. And solo the challenges, it is easier.

sweez, quick question: do you own a gun?

Hello Epoch!. Welcome to the Challenges. You will find a lot of useful information here:

http://ddowiki.com/page/Challenges

including different versions of items, the required ingredients and the required challenges. I hope this helps you.

Or in other words:

Read the wiki, you fucking noob, it's not your first day in the game  Cheesy.

If you only look for easy life, one star, and a bunch of stuff pro run, is really easy. I can do it with my hagglebot, cammon, donīt be a cry baby.
Of course, if you want to 5 star it and have a bazillion ingredients in 15 min, then it is shit.

It isn't about difficulty.  I have PTSD from when crystal cove first came out.

Ok. I understand this. I am hoping that CC comes back, but I am praying that Turbine will skip it for this year. I have tons of stuff to update. It would kill me.

I guarantee that by the end of grinding challenge items out, it won't be the kobold mining ones that will make you want to cut yourself.

For the items I want - rock boots and spare hand, it is a 3/3 and a 2/3 of kobold shit.  Pain I say, pain.  I haven't even checked the weapons yet.  Was thinking of the calomel wraps (because my monk has every other wrap in game, so why not?).  Also 3 mournlode maul for pally and 2 maces for my melee dualwielder.

Maybe I will just wait to see what the enw expansion brings out in june/july or whenever.

Without having checked the numbers myself, but:

If you have enough GS mats, triple positive is better than mournlode. No need to grind even more. OTOH, depending on your gear layout, you might want the Stalker Ring on your melees.

There are a lot of items in there which I COULD use. I try to avoid crafting them because when I grind them out I will no longer be able to set foot in the challenges. But then I want epic tokens to slot stuff and buy hearts Sad.

Yes. Also, the time spent on the Rushmore ones versus the reward makes me want to strangle puppies.

Yeah. It's not hard, just long and arduous.

I think Dr Rushmore challenges suck the most.  At least, they're the ones I suck at the most.  Give me crystal gathering kobolds any day.

Tarrant can suck my boobies.  On second thought, they are far too soft and supple for the likes of him.  Tarrant, you can GFY while having hopeless pathetic dreams of my boobies.

I run rushmore when I want to kill things for twenty minutes.  I run labor shortage and trade the scrolls if I actually need mats.

Exactly.  I love Rushmore's...they just aren't worth running.  That doesn't make them any less fun. Smiley

The island is the worst by far. The mansion is worth running, if barely. 18 minute Picture Portals return beats half of my Labor Shortage return by like 10%. The low-level mansion challenge is the easiest of the three low-level challenges, too.

Rusmore is the easiest one for my monk brain to process.

"Okay Murder, run around and kill all the things, especially the red things"

"Got it coach!"

Oh and Quad Damage has been found to make you cackle like a madman.

Yeah, it's been ok since they turned up the payouts.

I've been hitting the low level ones at the minimum level and cranking the difficulty up for MOAR ingredients. Ending up with 900 ingredients from a solo Rushmore run is quite nice.

Hmm your hope is granted.. your prayer is not, does this mean there is no god?
