Did you click update session or are you still sitting in the dark yelling for someone to light a candle?

Heh, I thought the mace wielding melee wizard was pretty awesome! I think he was mostly in the first preview though.

I could be wrong, but those types of things are probably there to really emphasize the active combat.

Nah. Face the facts, those are the devs.
There's a reason they don't have a solid grasp on how normal people play, they get unlimited turbine points to blow on pay-to-win consumables.
I mean, with a constant +30% XP from potions, +3 to all stats, Major Slayer Count boosts on at all times for all wilderness areas, full stacks of Enhanced Heal Critical Wounds and Best SP Potions, an unlimited stash of portable rest shrines, a bank tab full of stacks of Figgy Pudding Spirit Cakes, a couple stacks of Lesser Anti-Beholder Crystals (20 absorb charges each!) and an army of gold seal hirelings following you around consistently to tank and heal, what caster COULDN'T solo most non-raid quests and make level 20 no matter how broken the mechanics are?

The release of the expansion will be a great time to cap toons in Diablo 3 as druids cause the servers to crash. They've only been released to Mourlands what, four times?, and each time taken the server down with them. I don't pretend that fifth time is the charm.
Also, that MOTU coverage sucked. Needs more actual footage and fewer words about Noobtown.

Other than finding out that 'Beta is coming in just shy of two months" we have learned basically nothing from PAX, only fluff that might interest people who don't play the game.
The rest is all in fluffy marketing words that wont mean anything to anyone until we actually see/play it in action.

You didn't listen to the Fеrnando interview posted on DDOCast then.
Beta starts at the "beginning of May."
Lots of other interesting stuff and some not so interesting stuff in that interview.

I've listened to two DDOCasts last year when Tolero and Cordovan were interviewed. Biggest waste of time ever. Two hours of talking, zero minutes of relevant content to me. It probably never occurred to the DDOCast people to ask about details that are actually interesting... how epic levels will work with TRing... what the druid past life feats are... you know, shit people really want to know.

Epic levels have no effect on TRing. The earliest you will be able to TR is level 20. This was already stated.
Now for the druid active/passive past life feat, I got no answer. DDOCAST has always been shit though, so what did you expect?

Sadly, to stay 'on the air' it has to be. If they bust out with anti-fanboi-isms they'd be ostracized and excommunicated from 'the fold'.

Note to any Turbine staffers reading this, and one I genuinely hope you share around the office: DDO has become a shit game because y'all have made it a shit game. Once it was great. Now, it's a festering puddle of monkey diarrhea. No matter how you try to justify it, or pat yourselves on the back for doing great jobs... it's a shit game now because of you. Y'all keep on giving the players the middle finger, and you keep expecting us to reward you for the abuse. I've had it with you narcissistic fuckwads and your myopic policies of ineptitude.

Seems like people who write those previews play as much actual DDO as the DDO devs themselves!

Random spawns - about fucking time.

Leaving only charcoal to defend -
Finally I understand the feelings of the few,
Ashes and diamonds, foe and friend, we were all equal in the end."
